Courses
We offer adult education courses on a semester basis and social events throughout the year. We host Art Class at our studio downtown. Basketball Group is held at an offsite facility on the Upper West Side; Movement Group and Chat & Chew are held on the Upper East Side.
The Sports Group focuses on fun, being active, team concepts, and learning the basic fundamental skills of sports such as basketball, soccer, and touch football. Class will be based on a bi-weekly progressive development skills program. Every two weeks we will introduce a new skill or drill to the tasks that have already been introduced.
The group meets on Tuesdays from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm on the Upper West Side.
Fall 2025 Semester runs October 21st through December 16th.

The Movement Group meets on Wednesdays on the Upper East Side from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm.
Participants are encouraged to stay after for refreshments and fun with the group during our Sips & Stories program (until 5:30 pm). Both programs run on an ongoing basis.

Sips & Stories is a fun and creative storytelling meetup, comprised of theater games, singing/karaoke, and interactive activities such as balloon ping pong, based on a story book and culminating in a lesson on making a related seasonal beverage. The purpose of the group is primarily to share joy with like-minded individuals in a safe and supportive environment, while flexing your style, attitude, and voice skills with a focus on connecting and communicating. The group works collaboratively on games and challenges within a new story-based theme each week and will enjoy healthy smoothies, teas, cocoas, and other drinks. Group Leader Tony Canty guides the group through the use of modeling, puppetry, props, and his own naturally encouraging and cooperative personalities. The results may surprise and astound you - and we can't wait to see where this goes.
The Storytelling Group meets on Wednesdays from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm on an ongoing basis. (There is an option to join on a drop-in basis.)

The mediums used in class include dry materials such as pencil and markers, wet materials such as clay and plaster, as well as digital formats. Analog works are typically made on paper.
The group meets on Thursdays at our FiDi studio from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm on a semester basis.

Our Mindfulness Group is a 60-minute meetup focusing on tuning into the world around us through our senses. How am I feeling right now? What flavors can I taste in this food? What do I hear in the park? As participants become more aware of their sensory experiences and emotions, they’ll explore how mindfulness practices can support them in everyday life.
The group meets on Fridays in East Harlem from 10:30 am - 11:30 am on a semester basis.
